$1.50 shift differential for 2-10pm shifts and overnights during the weekend.

We have Full-Time (FT) shifts available for evening shifts. We offer a flexible schedule and will work with you to accommodate your personal life.
Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Registered Nurse (RN), your key responsibilities include:
- Resident Care: Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents, ensuring that all care is delivered based on individual care plans. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate resident care as appropriate.
- Administer Medications and Treatments: Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately, as well as monitor the effectiveness of prescribed treatments and interventions.
- Health Monitoring: Regularly monitor the health status of residents by assessing vital signs, conducting physical exams, and identifying any changes in condition. Report these findings to the appropriate medical professionals.
- Collaboration with Healthcare Team: Work collaboratively with physicians, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and effective treatment plans for residents.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and thorough records of all assessments, interventions, and care provided, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Supervision and Leadership: Supervise and mentor Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and other team members, ensuring high-quality care and regulatory compliance.
- Patient and Family Education: Provide education to residents and their families regarding care plans, treatments, and health concerns to ensure understanding and foster a sense of involvement in the care process.
- Emergency Response: Respond to medical emergencies, offering first aid and emergency treatment as needed.
- Advocacy: Serve as an advocate for residents, ensuring their rights, preferences, and dignity are maintained throughout their care.
Education and Certification Requirements:
- Education: Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
- Licensure: Valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kansas.
- Experience: Previous experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or a related healthcare field is preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements:
- Mobility: Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds when assisting with resident care.
- Dexterity: Ability to perform nursing tasks such as administering medications, conducting assessments, and handling medical equipment.
- Work Environment: Ability to work in a healthcare setting with exposure to medical equipment, medications, and healthcare-related substances.
- Vision and Hearing: Ability to read medical documents, accurately assess patient conditions, and respond to changes in a patient’s health status.
- Lifting and Transfers: Ability to assist residents with mobility and transfers, including lifting, repositioning, and supporting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
